Accessibility
Accessibility is what we work on, so we hold our own site to the same standard.
Our commitment
We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, in a way that respects their dignity and independence.
This website
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA, the standard in Ontario’s rules, and we test it against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It is designed to:
- work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to main content” link;
- use headings, landmarks, labelled form fields and clear error messages for screen readers;
- keep text contrast at 4.5:1 or higher in both light and dark mode;
- work at 320 pixels wide and when zoomed to 200% or more;
- respect your reduced-motion setting, and use no images of text.
Known limitations
- The sample documents under /sample/ are print-style pages without site navigation; use your browser’s back button to return.
- The fit call and email options open your email app. If that doesn’t work for you, email us directly and we’ll arrange another way.
